Brainspark Games Shines on Dragons’ Den, Securing Investment from Three Dragons!

We’re thrilled to celebrate our long-time client, Reedah El-Saie, founder of Brainspark Games, for her incredible appearance on Dragons’ Den! After years of dedication, Reedah impressed the dragons with her mission to make education fun, interactive, and accessible for children through innovative games.

Thanks to her emotional and compelling pitch, Reedah successfully secured investment from three Dragons, including Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies, and Touker Suleyman – an incredible achievement that validates her vision and hard work - not that she needed any dragons to prove that!

From Concept to Dragons’ Den

Reedah's journey began in 2018, driven by a personal frustration with an education system that often overlooked diverse learning needs. As a mother of three, she observed the stress and anxiety caused by traditional revision methods and recognised a pressing need for more inclusive educational resources. Inspired by the engaging nature of games like Fortnite, Reedah envisioned a platform where learning could be both fun and effective.

In 2019, Brainspark Games was born. The company developed its first history game, focusing on the Tudors, and launched it on both Apple and Google Play stores. Since then, Brainspark Games has expanded its offerings to include a wide range of subjects such as maths, English, science, climate education, and languages, catering to children aged 7 to 13. The games are designed to be interactive, engaging, and aligned with the UK national curriculum.

Brainspark Games’ Partnership with Studio 77

At Studio 77, we've had the privilege of collaborating with Reedah over several years, assisting in the development of Brainspark Games' brand and online presence. Our work focused on creating a custom Squarespace website that not only showcased the educational games but also told the compelling story of Brainspark's mission and vision.

The website design aimed to balance playfulness with professionalism, appealing to kids, parents and potential investors. Interactive elements and vibrant visuals were incorporated to reflect the engaging nature of the games, while ensuring the site remained user-friendly and informative.

Recognition and Growth

Brainspark Games' innovative approach has garnered significant recognition. The company has been awarded eight (yes, eight!) Innovate UK grants, and has been featured in the Prime Minister’s Council for Science & Technology’s report on creative industries. Additionally, Brainspark Games has been showcased at the Maths Week Parliamentary Expo and has received accolades such as the Creative Women 'Excellence in Technology Award'.

The success on Dragons’ Den is a testament to Reedah's dedication and the impact of Brainspark Games' offerings. The investment and knowledge secured from Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies, and Touker Suleyman will undoubtedly propel the company toward new heights, enabling further development and expansion of its educational tools.

Looking Ahead

Reedah's vision for Brainspark Games continues to evolve, with plans to expand the range of subjects and incorporate advanced technologies to enhance the learning experience. The support from the Dragons will play a crucial role in realising these ambitions, ensuring that Brainspark Games remains at the forefront of educational innovation.

At Studio 77, we are so incredibly proud to have been part of this journey and look forward to witnessing the continued success of Brainspark Games in revolutionising education through play.
