Brand Colour Palette
To maintain a slick brand experience, we drew direct inspiration from the store’s interior. The brass shelving that elegantly displays the eyewear in-store became a focal design element on the homepage, framing the glasses as soon as you landed on the site.
The colours we crafted for the website’s rebrand were carefully selected from the store’s paint palette, to create a visual link between the physical stores and digital spaces.
Bringing the In-Store Experience Online
Taylor West & Co is renowned for its highly personalised eyewear service, offering designer glasses that stand apart from the mainstream. When crafting their WordPress website, we focused on translating their signature in-store experience to the digital space.
Every design choice was intentionally made to ensure that visitors feel the same warmth, individuality, and expertise that they would when stepping into the boutique.
Beyond aesthetics, we introduced animation effects to add movement and excitement. Growing circles and fluid transitions create a dynamic browsing experience, keeping users engaged while maintaining a sense of sophistication. These interactive elements reflect the bespoke nature of Taylor West & Co, ensuring that every interaction felt as refined and intentional as their eyewear selection.
Approachable Typography & Circular Elements
Typography plays a crucial role in user experience, and we selected a font that is both highly readable and inviting. With a rounded and approachable aesthetic, the typeface mirrors the friendly and bespoke nature of Taylor West & Co’s services.
Circles became a central design motif throughout the site. We consciously avoided sharp edges, instead opting for soft, growing circles that create a sense of fluidity and warmth. These elements subtly guide the user’s journey, reinforcing the brand’s approachable and personal ethos.

Taylor West & Co is the antithesis of mass-market optical retailers. Their emphasis on a curated, tailored experience meant that the website had to reflect the same level of exclusivity and care.
