Since we launched in 2017, we’ve been using Squarespace to create beautifully bespoke websites. Over the last year, we’ve launched countless numbers of Squarespace websites, through our bespoke Squarespace website design and build service here at Studio 77.
We love using Squarespace as a platform to build our clients' websites on because it’s easy for our clients to use to maintain their websites, and it gives us plenty of freedom to create custom Squarespace website designs with our expert knowledge of Squarespace coding and user experience design.

The Squarespace Showcase Edit 08: Bamboo Fundraising
In our eighth edition of The Squarespace Showcase, we’re shining a spotlight on charity recruitment specialists, Bamboo Fundraising. We partnered up with another London design agency, Adventure Stories for this one.
The wonderfully creative team at Adventure Stories rebranded and created the website for Bamboo Fundraising, and was looking for a Squarespace development team to come in and help make their vision a reality. Cue Studio 77!
Ed at Adventure Stories had done such a wonderful job of designing the website, we knew we had to do the website design justice, so we began the build for the new, brighter, bolder, Bamboo Fundraising.
Bamboo’s Squarespace website objectives were:
Make it easy for candidates to apply for roles
Find an integration system that could host candidates' CVs and personal details that were GDPR compliant
Add moments of delight to users’ experience on the site through small animations, sticky sections and simple yet effective, ‘wow, that’s cool’ moments.

Custom Squarespace Design Features
Bamboo wanted an easy-to-navigate Squarespace website that showcased all the available jobs they were recruiting for, useful blog content that they have written for both employees and employers, as well as showcasing the brand's personality.
Here are just some of the custom elements and plug-ins we added to the Squarespace website design:
Added java and CSS to create a simple and fun loading animation when navigating between pages
Created sticky and angled sections throughout the site to make the design feel more dynamic and engaging for the user
Integrated Jotform to the website to make the application process easier for both candidates and the recruiters at Bamboo
Custom Squarespace Website Stats
In 3 weeks, we wrote over 1500 lines of custom CSS code and built twelve custom pages.
Bespoke Squarespace Training
We teach all of our clients how to use and update their website with our bespoke video training at the end of the project, all of our clients say how easy it is for them to update their website after the training. (Although we do offer Squarespace maintenance packages for those who need additional help or are too busy doing all of the other business-owner stuff.)
The Squarespace Website Design
The aim of the site was to effectively display Bamboo Fudraising’s new branding, and integrate Jotform into the website for a seamless job application process.
The site has a playful feel, using all of the brand’s vibrant colours and fun Panda graphics. Combine this with textures, and boldly angled sections, and you’ve got a beautiful bespoke Squarespace website that definitely stands out from the crowd.
This Squarespace website includes custom functionality, such as CV uploading, angled sections, bespoke image shapes, and Panda animation files.
